Mary Jo had an amazingly strong faith and always tried to be an example of it in her dealings with all people, but especially the poor and vulnerable.
Mary Jo’s career choices have always been deeply gratifying accomplishments. Mary Jo was employed as a bank teller but went back to school to obtain a Peer Counselor diploma at UW-Stout. Mary Jo always loved animals (especially dogs) and this led to her second career as a Canine Behavior Specialist/Trainer for 35 years.
Due to COVID restrictions, a small funeral service was held at Fiss & Bills Poklasny Funeral Home last Tuesday.
In memory of Mary Jo donations can be made to Bethany United Church of Christ or the Oshkosh Area Humane Society.
