Mary Jane Ryan's Obituary
Mary Jane (Irvin) Ryan was born in Chicago in 1939. After raising two children, she graduated Kennesaw State College in 1995 for a second career as a 4th grade teacher at St. Francis School in Roswell, Georgia. While she had many ideas about how to enjoy her retirement, she found most joy in her pets, baking for everyone she knew, and her ministries at St. Raphael’s. She was active at the Oshkosh Senior Center and did plenty of swimming.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Larry Ryan. She is survived by her children, MaryKate Wu Ryan and Joseph Patrick Ryan; sisters Gail Cantrell and Nancy Sheehan; and brother, Steve Doty.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Raphael's Catholic Church (830 S. Westhaven Dr.) in Oshkosh at 10:30 AM on Saturday July 8, 2023.
