Mary M. Schroeder's Obituary
Mary M. Schroeder, age 95 of Oshkosh, passed away Saturday morning, April 18, 2009 in the Bethel Home. On August 14, 1913, Mary was born in Oshkosh, the daughter of Rudolph and Marie (Andrashko) Schroeder. Mary was a machine operator for 43 years at the C.A. Neubuerger Company, retiring on November 1, 1978. She was a member of Local 282 International Ladies Garment Workers (I.L.G.W.U.). She was the creator and editor of the "Sew and So" newletter at the C.A. Neubuerger Company for over 17 years. She was also a member of St. Jude the Apostle Parish (Sacred Heart site) and its Altar Society, St. Mary's Wednesday NIte Bowling League and the AARP for retired persons. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings: Anna, Rose, Cecelia, Rudolph, Michael and Carl
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2009 in the St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church (Sacred Heart site) on the corner of Knapp Street and 6th Ave., with Rev. Fr. Joel Sember as celebrant. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., in the church. Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home 870 W.
