Mary Voelkel's Obituary
Mary E. Voelkel, age 46, of Oshkosh passed away on Thursday evening April 25, 2013 at Aurora Medical Center. She was born in Wisconsin on June 16, 1966 the daughter of Richard and Gertrude (Scherbinow) Voelkel. She was employed for many years at Pick n Save in Oshkosh. Mary wanted to be remembered by friends and family as if it was the first time they met her. Mary is survived by her father; Richard Voelkel; one brother Rick (Cindy) Voelkel and two nieces; Caitlyn and Amber Voelkel all of Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by her mother; Gertrude Voelkel on November 15, 2008. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday May 1, 2013 at 6pm at the Poklasny Funeral Home. 870 W. South Park Ave. Oshkosh, WI 54902. Father William Van De Kreeke will officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4pm until 6pm. In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Mary's name. Mary's family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Aurora ICU for the wonderful care and compassion given to Mary.
