Michael Formiller's Obituary
Michael Formiller, age 47, of Oshkosh, passed away unexpectedly at his home on October 9,2021. He was born in Brandon WI., on March 16, 1974 the son of Louis and Marsha Manthie Formiller. Michael married Jamie Sowers on December 15, 2012 . He was employed at Calnin & Goss Trucking and Excavating Company as its Vice President.
Michael is survived by his wife; Jamie Formiller, of Oshkosh; one son Zachary Miller, Oshkosh; his mother, Marsha Formiller, Brandon WI., two brothers, Jeremy (Amanda) Formiller, Fond du Lac, Jeff (Linda) Ellman, Oshkosh; two sisters, Jeanette (Casper) Oliviera, Oshkosh, Jacquie (Chad) Pluim, Brandon; mother-in-law, Linda (Gary) DeBruin, Appleton, father-in-law William Sowers, Oshkosh; and 2 brothers-in-law Jesse (Nora) Sowers, Oshkosh, and Rory (Amber) Sowers, Colorado. Michael is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Michael will be missed by his beloved dogs Dolce, Mia and Lupita and cats Kiwi, Moki and Finn who were always by his side.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Formiller, and his dogs Armani, Zion and Bailey.
Michael loved spending time with his pets and his family. He could usually be found outside grilling, sitting by the fire, or jamming to music in his pub shed that he was so proud of, always with his furbabies by his side. Michael was an avid car and motorcycle lover and enjoyed flying his remote control airplanes.
Funeral services for Michael will be held in the Poklasny Funeral Home (870 W South Park Oshkosh) on Thursday October 21, at 4:00 PM with Deacon Pat Gelhar officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 PM until the hour of services.
