Michael G. "Bucky" Brennand's Obituary
Michael G. “Bucky” Brennand, age 69, of Oshkosh, passed away with his family at his side on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Ascension Mercy Hospital. He was born on September 18, 1955 in Oshkosh a son of the late George Thomas and Kathaleen Annette Gafney Brennand. He married the former Terry Lynn Levenhagen on May 4 1979. Mike was proudly a fifth generation self employed dairy/crop farmer until his retirement three years ago. Mike will be fondly remembered for stops at his daily meeting establishments where you may find him sharing bags of freshly picked sweet corn to share. He greatly enjoyed hunting and sturgeon spearing having many successful years and time spent at the family cabin.
Mike is survived by his wife, Teri of Oshkosh; a son, Scott (Sara) Brennand and their children McKenna and Aubrey all of Oshkosh; a granddaughter, Evelyn Mueller and her father, Jon Mueller; a brother, Patrick (Susan) Brennand of Winneconne; a sister, Eileen (Tom Polzin) Brennand of Oshkosh. He is further survived by two brother-in-laws, Doug (Linda) Levenhagen and Phil (special friend Deb) Levenhagen; two sister-in-laws, Lisa (Tim) Schneider and Ellen (Jim Erickson) Brennand; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Lee Matthew Brennand; a daughter, Sara Ann Brennand-Mueller; two sisters, Mary Margaret Brennand-Wegener and Kathaleen “Babe” Brennand-Zimmerman; a brother, Tom “Flip” Brennand.
A celebration of life time of sharing and service will be announced at a later date. The family wishes to thank the Ascension Mercy Hospital staff especially the ICU staff for Mikes care in his final days and also to Stephanie at Compassus Hospice.
