Michael Joseph Wright's Obituary
Michael J. Wright, age 43 of Oshkosh passed away on Sunday, morning August 5, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. Michael was born in Oshkosh on October 26, 1974 the son of Charles and Denise (Ruedinger) Wright. Michael married Sarah Hoeft on August 10, 1996. He was a Sergeant at Winnebago Correctional center in Oshkosh for many years. Michael loved football and baseball, especially the Detroit Lions and Milwaukee Brewers. Michael enjoyed reading and loved spending time with his family. Michael is survived by his wife Sarah Wright of Oshkosh. Three daughters Kaylee, Payton, and Joey Wright all of Oshkosh. One grandson Michael Gosdeck of Oshkosh. His parents Charles and Denise Wright of Oshkosh. Three brothers Jeremy (Ranee) Wright of Appleton, Justin Wright and Jason Wright both of Oshkosh. Two sisters Maggie (Dallas) Gehrke and Michelle Wright both of Oshkosh. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jane and Alvin Ruedinger. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 3 pm at the Fiss & Bills Funeral Home at 865 S. Westhaven Drive. Oshkosh, WI 54904. Visitation will be held on Sunday at the funeral home from 1 pm until the time of service. In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established for Michael's family.
