Miguel De La O's Obituary
Miguel De La O Jr, age 69, of Oshkosh, died Wednesday November 6, 2013 at his home. He was born in San Antonio, TX on October 27, 1944 the son of the late Miguel and Maria Munoz De La O Sr. Miguel served his country in the United States Marine Corps. On January 4, 1972 he married Carol Fugere in St Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Manistique, MI. Miguel was employed at Square D in Oshkosh as a Robotics Operator until the time of his retirement. He was a member of St Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, and was also a member of the D.A.V.
Survivors include his wife; Carol De La O, of Oshkosh, one son; Andrew J. (Marie) De La O, of Greenville, WI, one granddaughter; Abigail De La O, one brother; and Jimmy De La O, Racine.
Miguel was preceded in death by two brothers; Joe De La O, Raphael De La O, two sisters; Delphinea Villarreal, Eudelia Villarreal, and her twin brother; Rudy De La O.
A Memorial Mass will be held in St Jude the Apostle Catholic Church (Sacred Heart worship site) on Saturday November 9, at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Doug Le Captain officiating. Inurnment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery with full military honors. Family and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the hour of services.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to St Jude Research Hospital in Memphis TN.
