MILDRED "MILLIE" ANN WOJAHN's Obituary
Mildred Ann Wojahn, age 85, of Oshkosh, died Monday January 22, 2018 at Park View Health Center. She was born in Oshkosh on January 13, 1933 the daughter of the late Alois and Caroline Peckman Biesinger. Millie married Jack Wojahn on October 19, 1952 at Fort Bragg NC. He preceded her in death on March 21, 2016. She was a member of Most Blessed sacrament Catholic Church (St Mary worship site) in Oshkosh. Millie was a Packer, Notre Dame football fan, loved playing cards, bingo, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Millie is survived by one son; William (Mary) Wojahn, of Pickett, two daughters; Mary (Kenneth) Lajcak, Oshkosh, Jackie (Scott) Moehr, Hilbert, four grandchildren; Christopher Lajcak, Pamela (Steve) Cosby, Ali Wojahn, Jack Wojahn, known as great-grandma bugadooch to six great-grandchildren; Davin, Shelby, Kytairra, Bentleigh, Kashtyn, Layla, one brother; Irv Beisinger, Oshkosh, and one sister, Lenore Demler, Oshkosh. Millie is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Jack Wojahn, one grandson; Cory Miller, one granddaughter; Mandy Gutjahr, four sisters; Marie, Theresa, Loretta, Margaret, three brothers; Alois, Carl, and Frank Biesinger.
A Memorial Mass for Mildred will be celebrated on Friday January 26, at 11:00 AM in Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church ( St Mary worship site 605 Merritt) with the Rev jerry Pastors officiating. Inurnment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until the hour of services.
In lieu of flowers a memorial in Millie’s name will be established.
Millie’s family wishes to extend a very special Thank you to the Lakeside 1 staff at Park View for all their care and compassion in their time of need.
