Mildred M. Schafhauser's Obituary
Mildred Schafhauser, age 98, of Oshkosh passed away on Saturday November 13,2021.
Mildred was born in the town of Lebanon WI., on October 25, 1923, to parents James and Margaret Allen. She attended Pine Grove Elementary, Country School, Washington High School, New London and Oshkosh Business College.
She married Paul Schafhauser on August 21, 1954 at St. Patrick Church in Lebanon WI. Shortly after their marriage, Mildred and Paul, moved to Oshkosh and raised their family. Mildred was a stay-at-home mom and raised four children.
She worked at Kimberly Clark, main office, in Neenah until her marriage to Paul. Mildred also worked for the Wisconsin DNR for many years. Mildred has been a member at Saint Raphael Archangel Catholic Church since the formation of the church in Oshkosh. She volunteered over the years for the Red Cross, Mercy Medical Center and at Saint Raphael Catholic Church.
She is survived by and her memory will be cherished by her sons, David (Elizabeth) of Antigo, Daniel (Teri) of Appleton and Mark (Christine Cerutti) Wisconsin Dells; a daughter, Mary (Tom) Brunner of Hortonville; and two brothers-in-law. She is further survived by six grandchildren, Matthew (Libby) and Jonathan Brunner; Christopher and Kyle Schafhauser; Darcy Nett, Dane Liergaard; other relatives and friends.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Paul, her parents and her siblings.
A private family service, for Mildred, will take place at a later date.
