MONICA ANN JUNGWIRTH's Obituary
Monica A “Mona” Jungwirth, age 62, of Oshkosh, died Sunday November 8, 2015 at Azura Memory Care in Oshkosh. She was born in Oshkosh on November 29, 1952 the daughter of Leonard and Dolores Poklasny Jungwirth. Mona graduated from St Vincent’s grade school and also from Lourdes High School. Until the time of her retirement Mona was employed by Affinity Health Care as a receptionist.
Monica was a devoted daughter and sister who cared deeply about making her family comfortable and happy. She is survived by her father, Leonard Jungwirth, her dear sister-in-law Suzanne (Susie) Jungwirth, special cousin Kay Bloesl and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. "Mona", as she was known to friends and co-workers, loved to entertain, was an extraordinary cook and always enjoyed a shopping excursion. She was generous, kind and loving to all her family and friends. She was taken from us way too soon. Mona had a special place in her heart for the Puppeter-Troiber children who she considered her nieces and nephews. Monica will be remembered for her giggle, her warm hospitality and especially her beautiful spirit. We will miss her always.
She was preceded in death by her mother; Dolores Jungwirth, one brother; Paul Jungwirth, two sisters; Jane and Sue Jungwirth.
A celebration of Mona’s life will be held in the Poklasny Funeral Home (870 W South Park) on Saturday November 14, 12:00 PM with the Deacon Pat Gelhar officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of services.
