Monica E. Will's Obituary
Monica Eileen Will, 83 passed away February 6, 2022. Monica was born March 5, 1938 in Hammersmith England, a District of West London England to Danial and Eileen (Fairnington) O’Keefe.
Monica met the love of her life Arnold B. Will Sr. while he was in the Air Force, stationed in England. They were married on October 1, 1955 in England and eventually moved to Oshkosh Wisconsin. Together they had four children, two sons and two daughters. Monica worked in retail all her life. First working at the Exclusive Company in Oshkosh, Wisconsin then went on to Pranges in the Park Plaza Mall in Oshkosh Wisconsin. Eventually managing the Marianne’s Women’s clothing store also in the Park Plaza Mall and also managed the Marianne’s store in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. She also went onto being a sales associate at Younkers in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Monica was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving family members include her husband, Arnold; her siblings, Sheila Pennery (Michael Sr.), Raymond O’Keefe and Elaine Liston (Michael). Her children, Arnold Will Jr. – his children, Dr. Naomi Will (Dr. Anand Shah) and Benjamin Will, Jay Will – his children Courteney Hart and Jean Deniger (Derrick), Teresa Gerrits (Alan) – her step children, Melissa Jurgens (Michael), Melinda Gerrits, Matthew Gerrits (Jacqueline) and Michael Gerrits (Melissa), Jacqueline Daker – her children Sean Daker, Emery Daker, and Rae Czerwinski (Brian) and many beloved nieces and nephews and cousins and great grandchildren. Monica enjoyed family vacations up north in Phelps Wisconsin enjoying the fresh outdoors most weekends in summer and fall and enjoying having a drink or two and socializing and also made many friends throughout her life. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
Funeral services for Monica will be held on Monday, February 4, 2022 at 1 pm in the Lake View Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel on Algoma Blvd. in Oshkosh. A time of visitation will be held at the chapel on Monday from 12 noon until the time of service. Burial will follow in Lake View Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family would like to thank all the paramedics and staff at Mercy Medical Center for their care and compassion, also the staff at Eden Meadows Rehabilitation Center along with the staff at Bethel Home.
