Mike proudly served in the US Army and was stationed in Munich, Germany for a time. After discharge, Mike moved to Oshkosh and eventually Omro. Mike was a tinkerer, enjoyed welding in his home shop, and took a turn at hobby farming. After retiring from Muza Metal Products with 36 years of service, he moved back to his hometown of Cumberland, where he enjoyed hunting, riding 4 wheelers and just being in the great outdoors. While generally a quiet man, he was known to roll out a corny pun whenever the moment presented itself. Mike cherished his time with family and friends. In March of 2023, challenging medical conditions brought Mike back to Oshkosh where he could be closer to his children.
There will be a Celebration of Life to be held later this summer, date to be determined.
