Nancy S. Livengood's Obituary
Nancy S. Livengood, age 57, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 with her family at her side. She was born on June 13, 1954 in Pennsylvania a daughter of Stanley and Joann Drennen. Nancy served her country in the US Air Force and married Robert Livengood on March 5, 1975 in Oklahoma. She had worked for JLG and then Oshkosh Truck Corporation until her illness prevented her from working. Nancy greatly enjoyed any and all contact with people, both on and off the job. The love of her family and her companion pets, Maggie and B.J. were her greatest loves.
Her memory will be cherished by her husband, Robert and their son, Eric, both of Oshkosh; her parents, Stanley and Joann, both of PA; two brothers, Greg Hepner of Oklahoma and Mark Hepner of Missouri; two sisters, Sue (Don) Nixon of Texas and Kathy (Art) Coldsmith of PA. She is further survived by other relatives and many very dear friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Amy in 2008. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Drive in Oshkosh. The Reverend Alan Cleveland will officiate. The service will be followed by full military honors. A time of visitation and support will be held for the family at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials in her name may be made to the Affinity Visiting Nurses Association, who so wonderfully and gently cared for Nancy during her illness. Nancy's motto "Love what you do and do what you love"
