Neal indeed so loved being in the educational field at UWO. He was one of my best students in Social Studies Block B. Always read the assignments and contributed much by participating in class. And Bob and I will never forget the "mystery paid dinner"...in fact two times. We did pay it forward...was so kind of Linda and him. ( Linda was one of my former third grade students) What a unique connection.....and I'll always remember his using "my bride" whenever he referred to Linda. There were many times when I was at Merrill...either subbing or supervising student teachers, I often saw Neal being Linda's special right hand in her classroom...always helping and being there for her and her students. What an ideal loving couple they made...so caring of each other. God will be receiving one fine person back home.

Neal was a kind and generous man! We worked the late shift together at SBC and it didn’t matter how much work I had to do before locking up after the last shift, Neal waited to walk me to my car. His care and concern for others reached far and wide. The heavens have received an established angel and I know he will continue his good work from above. My heartfelt condolences to Linda and the rest of the family, Neal has touched so many and we share in your sorrow.
