Norman E. Meland's Obituary
Norman E. Meland, age 77, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 4, 2013. He was born on December 29, 1935 in Sun Prairie, WI a son of the late Peter and Olive (Greve) Meland. Norman married the former Elsie Meade on January 24, 1973. He had worked for and retired from Madison Crushing and Excavating.
He is survived by his wife Elsie of Oshkosh; two sons, Todd Meland of El Mirage, AZ and Norman James Meland; a daughter, Tracy Meland of El Mirage, AZ; stepchildren, Mike Miller of Lodi, Bryce Miller of Dubuque, IA and Trisha (Jeff) Liethen of Oshkosh; brothers, Marius (Jean) Meland of Woodale, IL, Peter (Margie) Meland and Naymen (Cleo) Meland, both of Madison, WI. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and his companion dog, Gus. There will be no visitation or services at this time a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
