Patricia A. Binder's Obituary
Patricia A. Binder, age 89, of Oshkosh, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020. She was born on August 25, 1931 in Neenah to the late William and Margaret (Haber) Zeller. Patricia married Norman Binder on December 27, 1951 in Oshkosh. She was an active member in St. Raphael’s Adult Choir for 24 years. Pat went to Oshkosh State Teacher College in the rural division now known as UWO. She went on to teach at a rural one room schoolhouse and taught for 3 years. After the children were raised, she became a teacher aide at Green Meadow for a reading program. Patricia volunteered for years. She was also the bookkeeper for Binder Auto Service, which was the business she and her husband owned. She greatly enjoyed gardening, couponing, flowers, motorcycling, reading, and was politically orientated. Pat was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Patricia is survived by and her memory will be cherished by her three sons, Daniel (Cindy Habich) Binder of Omro, Steven (Barbara) Binder of Oshkosh, Jeffrey (Elizabeth Nevitt) Binder of Pickett; three daughters, Victoria Vandenberg of Oshkosh, Debra (Mark Hoffman) Lux of Pickett, Julie (Thomas D'Amico) Ruedinger of Waupaca; and a sister, Geraldine Mueller. She is further survived by 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, other relatives, and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Binder; parents; and two sisters, Marjorie Salm and Shirley Ludwig.
