Patricia K. Hoehne's Obituary
Patricia "Pat" Kay Hoehne, age 71, Oshkosh, WI., passed away at home on June 10, 2025. Her loving husband Jeff was by her side. She put up a valiant fight against a third occurrence of lung cancer.
Pat was born August 29th, 1953, in San Francisco CA., the daughter of Wesley and Marion Hunter.
After graduating from high school, Pat enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where she proudly served her country for 4 years during the Vietnam war. She had many stories of Paris Island boot camp. She attained the rank of Sargent. Semper Fidelis Pat.
Pat’s professional career was at Kimberly Clark Corporation where she was a research scientist for 24 years. She made many contributions to the company’s product lines, including product improvements, product development, and cost savings. She also worked at AAL, West Marine, and Lowes. Pat attended UW Oshkosh, where she earned an associate’s degree. Pat also attended Lakeland Collage, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree.
Pat was an animal lover her entire life. Her animals were always a valued part of her family. She was also a monthly contributor to the ASPCA and the Oshkosh Area Humane Society. Attending events like Plays and Operas at the Appleton Performing Arts Center was something she enjoyed very much. Pat was also a foster parent for Winnebago county.
Pat married her husband, Jeffrey James Jeanquart on September 10th, 2005.
She is survived by her husband Jeff, her animals Tammy (kitty), Cassey (dog); sister, Michelle (BJ) Wilmoth, Step son Jason (Jennifer) Jeanquart, granddaughter Brooklyn Jeanquart, and many nieces and nephews who will all miss her very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Marion, sisters Carol Harris and Joyce Cooper, brother Bobby (Dora) Williams, and first husband Jack W Hoehne.
Pat’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Aurora Hospice Nurse Team for the excellent care they provided to our loved one in the final stage of her life’s journey. They are most certainly God’s angels on earth.
Visitation will be held at Fiss & Bills Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Dr., Oshkosh WI. On Saturday, June 21st, From 10:00 – 12:00 AM. A prayer devotional will be held at 11:45.
