PATRICIA PATOKA's Obituary
Heaven gained an angel on Thursday, July 26 when Patricia "Patt" Patoka left this earth after suffering a massive stroke. Patt was well adored and loved by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Carl and Frances Stiehm and 3 siblings; Lois, Charles and Timothy. Patt is survived by her sister, Jacqueline Todorovich, her children; Cynthia "Cindy" Patoka and Michael "Mike" Patoka, her Grandchildren; Patrick (Jessica) Patoka, Matthew (Devlin) Patoka, Courtney (Jon) Zittlow, Carine (Michael) Sommers, Lindsey Patoka and LeeAnna Patoka and 12 Great- Grandchildren.
You could always find Patt watching one of her favorite game shows, doing a crossword puzzle or bragging about her grandchildren or great- grandchildren. She spent many days reading in her recliner and volunteering at Mercy Medical Center and the Senior Center. Her family and friends will miss her generous heart and spunky, stubborn spirit. Patt's love for her family was shown through her selfless giving and being an amazing caretaker for those she loved.
We would like to thank the kind-hearted staff at Mercy Medical Center, Eden Meadows Nursing Home and the Hospice nurses for taking wonderful care of Patt in her final days.
Mom, Grandma and Great- Grandma... We love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck!
Funeral services for Patt will be held in Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Home (865 S Westhaven) on Friday August 3, at 12:00 PM with Deacon Pat Gelhar officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:30 AM until the hour of services
