Pauline Lloyd's Obituary
Pauline Anna Lloyd, Our dear mother, Pauline Anna (OBrien) Lloyd of Pine Haven Nursing Home Sheboygan Falls, WI, (formerly of Oshkosh, WI) passed away peacefully in her sleep, to her eternal rest on Monday, December 15, 2014. She was born one of eleven children to Helena and John O'Brien on August 21, 1915 in Cathay, N.D. In 1935 she married Thomas Lloyd in Fessenden, N.D. where they farmed for many years. In 1950 they moved to Oshkosh, WI where they spent the remainder of their married life until Thomas passed away on August 15, 1970. Mother worked for the Oshkosh B'Gosh Overall Company and was proud to have shaken the hand of JFK when he was campaigning for President. She was then employed by Paine Lumber Company for 17 years where she served as union president for a period of time. Mom was talented in so many ways; crocheting, doll making, sewing, cooking and baking. Her delicious baked goods were enjoyed by many. She loved to play bingo and at one time her good luck won her a brand new car. Treasured with memories that will live in their hearts forever are her six children; Earl (Charlotte) Lloyd of Earlysville, VA, Janice Clark of Puyallup, WA, David Lloyd of Sturgeon Bay, WI, Connie (Gordon) Peterson of Puyallup, WA, Carmen Claypool of Madison, OH and Tom (Pam) Lloyd of Sheboygan, WI. Her 16 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren love her and will miss her. Preceded in death include her husband Thomas, her parents, daughter-in-law Janice, son-in-law Olen, five brothers, Wilfred, Lenhart, John, Anthony and Herman. Five sisters, Clara, Mary, Theresa, Rita and Monica. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 12pm at the Fiss & Bills Funeral Home at 865 S. Westhaven Drive. Oshkosh, WI 54904. Rev. Dave Van Dixhorn will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday at the funeral home from 11am until the time of service. The family would like to thank the entire staff of Pine Haven Nursing Home for their loving care during the last 2 years of Mom's life.
