Peggy A Scherz's Obituary
Peggy A. Scherz, of Oshkosh, passed away on December 27, 2025, after a lengthy illness. The daughter of Elmer A. and Helen (Harnish) Otto, she was born on January 2, 1942. Peggy married Richard A. Scherz on October 5, 1964; they were married for 57 years.
Peggy worked for several years at Omni Glass & Paint, retiring in 2004. She loved tending to her flowers, walking, biking, and especially their many beloved dogs they shared throughout the years.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Richard, her parents, and siblings Jack (Peggy) Otto, Sally (Dale) Hurlbutt and Nancy (Robert) Straveler. Peggy is survived by her daughters Tarry (Michael) Majewski and Tammy (Rodney) Hering; grandchildren, Felicia Majewski, Ashley Majewski, Adam (Alexandrea) Sitter, Ryan Sitter and Bryce Hering; and great-grandchildren, Brooke and Bennett Sitter. She will be dearly missed by her family.
The family gives special thanks to the Bethel Home staff and Moments Hospice staff who so lovingly took care of her over the years.
