On Saturday, July 1, 2023, Phyllis Lee LaCourse passed away peacefully at age 77. Phyllis was born on August 2, 1945, at the old Walter Reed Army hospital in Washington, DC, to her devoted parents, Peter Franklin Dantone and Lucy Read Obituary
My sincere condolences to Phyllis's family. I enjoyed my time with with her as a home helper and friend. She enjoyed relating stories and talking about her love, pride, of her children and granddaughters. She was a loving kind soul who worried about others more than herself, I know firsthand. Mrs. LaCourse was a big part of my childhood given how close she was with my Mom. Much sympathy to Lisa, Peter and Stacy for your loss.
Dear Lisa, Peter and Stacy, So very sorry to hear of Phyllis's passing. We shared so many of life's ups and downs. My girls would wait each year for the Christmas cookie tray and each had their favorites which were gone within a day! All our bridge dates and wonderful weekends in the Door Country retreat. My visit to see Phyllis when Stacy was born. Phyllis was my first friend I told when I was pregnant. She also was the friend I called when my Dad passed away. I could go on and on about our friendship and how special she was in my life. She truly will be missed.
