I was sorry to learn of Phyllis's passing - she was like the big sister I didn't have, tho' we were cousins. My mom, Frances, was Lois's sister.
I have great memories of playing on 23rd street with Phyllis and Buddy.
When Phyllis and Bob Monday got married, they asked me to sing...a true honor. Phyllis made a beautiful bride.
It was always a pleasure to visit with her. Even through all the difficulties in her life, Phyllis always had a smile - a truly sweet, beautiful smile.
You girls and your families have our sympathy and you prepare to miss your mom and grandma, but God grants us the gift of memories to keep her spirit alive in all of you.
