Ralph J. Iervolino's Obituary
Ralph J. Iervolino, age 74 of Oshkosh, passed away late Saturday night, November 28, 2009 in Harbor Haven Nursing Home in Fond du Lac. On March 14, 1935 he was born in Warren, RI, the son of Adam and Amelia Petrucci Iervolino. Ralph was an independent insurance agent for 33 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. His hobbies were tinkering with anything that had a motor, golfing, bowling and boating. During the Korean War he served with the U.S. Air Force. On August 16, 1957 he married Jenneane Carlson of Eagle River, WI at the Air Force Chapel in West Palm Beach, FL. She survives along with his two daughters: Susan (John) Whitsett and Trudy Iervolino; his three grandchildren: Kelly (Chad) Lawler, Greg Dewing and Theo Haaks; his three step-grandchildren: Kimberley (Jason) Williams, Stephan (Amy) Whitsett and Jackie Whitsett; his three step-great-granchildren; Grant Whitsett, Jordan Whitsett and Jocelyn Williams; his brothers: Tom, Mike, Adam (Marge) and his sister: Jackie (Bob) Leahy all in Rhode Island. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son: Steven Iervolino; and four sisters: Viola Stimpson, Anne Durant, Patty Iervolino and Louise (Bob) Conway and a sister-in-law: Edwina Hansen of Eagle River, WI.. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2009 in the Fiss & Bills Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Dr., Oshkosh, with Rev. Fr. William Van De Kreeke officiating. Inurnment will be in New Elm Cemetery. Friends may greet the family from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday in the funeral home.
