Ralph Putzer's Obituary
Ralph G. Putzer, age 86, of Oshkosh passed away on Thursday morning 4-9-2015 at Evergreen Health Center. Ralph was born in Oshkosh on June 22, 1928 the son of Wenzel and Alvina (Drexler) Putzer. Ralph married Generose Tomczyk at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manitowoc, WI on May 14, 1955. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1950 and spent one year in Korea during the War. He was a faithful member of St. Jude Parish (St. Vincent Church). He was employed as a welder for many years at Steffen Welding. Ralph is survived by his wife; Generose Putzer of Oshkosh, two daughters; Marie (Rob) Schumann and Terri (Michael) Lautenschlager both of Oshkosh. Two sisters-in-law, four grandchildren; Justin, Shanon, Logan and Ashley. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and six brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday April 14, 2015 at 1pm at St. Jude Parish (St. Vincent Church 216 W. South Park Ave. Oshkosh, WI 54902). Father Matt Simonar and Father William Van De Kreeke will be the celebrants. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 11am until the time of Mass. Military Rites will be conducted on the church grounds after the Mass. In Lieu of flowers memorials should be directed to; Green Bay Seminary. P.O. Box 23825. 1825 Riverside Drive.
