Ralph Zeimet's Obituary
Ralph Frank Zeimet, age 85, of Oshkosh, died Saturday October 12, 2013 at his home in Oshkosh. He was born in Oshkosh, on September 2, 1928 the son of the late Henry and Theresa Koelbl. Ralph graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1947, and also from Oshkosh Business School in 1949. He married Anne Lumaye in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oshkosh on May 29, 1982. Ralph was the manager of the former Krambo Food Store (Jackson & Church St.) Oshkosh; and until the time of his retirement in 1993 was the District Manager for LaRosa Pasta of Lincoln, NE. He was an active member of The Knights of Columbus, and the Grocery Manufacturers Representatives Association.
Survivors include his wife;Ann Zeimet, of Oshkosh, their daughter; Ruth (Matthew) Imhoff, Madison, WI., one sister; Lorraine McKone, Oshkosh, three nephews; Robert, Paul Fuchs, Oshkosh, and Pat (Dawn) McKone, Oshkosh. Ralph is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Francis in 1977, two brothers; Robert, Henry Zeimet, two sisters; Lucille Fuchs, Elaine Zeimet, and numerous in-laws.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday October 15, at 11:00 AM in St Jude the Apostle Catholic Church (Corner of 6th and Knapp) with the Rev. William Van DeKreeke officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until the hour of services. In lieu of flowers a memorial in his name will be established.
