Ramone Reischl
Oshkosh - On January 4, 2019, little Ramone Steven Reischl passed away surrounded by his family. He was our shooting star. He beamed through our lives too quickly. Ramone was born prematurely on December 28, 2018. In spite of the odds being against him, he was a fighter and astonished us all with his strength and will to survive.
He is deeply missed by his parents Frank and Martha Reischl, one brother Frankie, grandparents Cory Nelson, and Frank and Christine Reischl, all of Oshkosh, and Russ and Carmen Nelson of Chippewa Falls. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family would like to send our deepest gratitude to the NICU staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. They cared for Ramone as they would their own, and guided us with their love and support.
Family and friends may call at the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral home (865 S Westhaven) on Thursday January 10, from 4:00-6:00 PM. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated for St. Elizabeth Hospital NICU, 1506 S. Oneida Street Appleton WI 54915, or the Christine Ann Center, 206 Algoma Blvd. Oshkosh WI 54901.
