Richard Carl Bahr's Obituary
Richard Carl Bahr, age 89 of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully Friday October 13, 2017, at Park View Health Center in Oshkosh. He was born June 19, 1928 in Oshkosh, the son of the late Otto and Veronica (Pable) Bahr. He was a life long member of St. Johns Catholic Church and St. Jude Catholic Parish.
Richard Served in the US Navy from 1948-1952.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers Kenneth Bahr and Harold (Helen) Bahr, and sister Dolores (Irvin) Neumann.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Richard on Saturday October 21, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Jude the Apostle Parish, St. Vincent Church, 1225 Oregon St. in Oshkosh. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church, Father Matt Simonar will be the celebrant. Inurnment will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Oshkosh. In lieu of floral expressions a memorial is being established.
Richard resided at Park View Health Center for the past five years. The family would like to thank the staff, especially Prairie Side 1 for the wonderful and compassionate care.
