Richard "Dick" Miller's Obituary
Richard E. "Dick" Miller , 88 of Oshkosh died Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Northpoint Medical and Rehab. Center. He was born March 15, 1927 in Milwaukee the son of the late Walter and Estelle Wypijewski Krukowski. He served in the U.S. Navy Merchant Marines during WWII and in the U.S. Army during the Korean war. He married Donna Mae Gumz on June 19, 1954 in Oshkosh. Richard delivered bread for Brownberry Ovens and later drove Bus for the Oshkosh Transit System until his retirement. He Was a local musician, playing in two bands, "Dick Miller and the Wranglers and Dick Miller and the Satelites" . He is survived by his wife Donna, two sons, Scott (Lori) Miller of Oshkosh and Steven (Kelli) Miller of Colorado Springs, CO. One brother, Irwin (Joanne) Krukowski of Marinette and two sisters, Irene Eimer of Milwaukee and Carol Anderson of La Crosse. Four grandchildren and four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Richard will be Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 1pm in the Poklasny Funeral Home, the Rev John Worzala-Dumke officiating. Family and friends may call at the Funeral Home Saturday from 11am until the time of services. Richard's family would like to thank Northpoint Medical and rehab and Heartland Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.
