Richard Troiber's Obituary
Richard L. Triober, age 60 of Oshkosh, passed away on Saturday evening, December 13, 2008 in Northpoint Medical and Rehab Center. On April 7, 1948 he was born in Oshkosh, the son of Alois and Cecelia (Matsche) Triober. During the Vietnam War he served with the U.S. Army in Thailand. For 23 years he was employed by the Oshkosh Corporation.
Survivors include his sisters: Carol (James) Moon of North Fond du Lac, Marilyn Kleinhaus, Gloria (Ron) Cider and Cynthia Marquez and one brother: Dale (Carol) Troiber all of Oshkosh, his brother-in-law: Lyle Cole of Green Bay, several nieces and nephews and two close friends: Steven Horton and Jay Lor both of Oshkosh. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and one sister: Julene Cole.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 18, 2008 in Poklasny Funeral Home, 870 W. South Park Ave., with Rev. Fr. William Van De Kreeke officiating. Cremation will follow the service with private inurnment in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may greet the family from 9:00 a.m. to 12 Noon at the funeral home.
