Robert Anderson "Andy''s Obituary
Robert "Andy" Anderson, age 73, of Oshkosh, died Saturday April, 13 2013 at his home in Oshkosh. He was born in Oshkosh on August 15, 1939 the son of the late Clarence and Blanch Olsen Anderson. Andy through the late fifties and into the seventies was in several local rock bands including the Black Knights, and the V.I.P's. He was employed by the Railroad Company for over thirty years and also owned and operated The Hollow Log, and Andy's Beachcomber where he was a proud sponsor of many softball, dart, pool, and many other Tavern League teams.
Andy is survived by one son; Scott (Pam) Anderson, of Sussex, WI., one daughter; Vicky (Scott) Tesch, Wausau, three grandchildren; Zach, Noah Tesch, Dylan Anderson, and one niece Sandy. Andy is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother; Jim Anderson, and one nephew; Mike Anderson.
Funeral services for Andy will be held in Fiss & Bills Funeral Home (865 S WESTHAVEN) on Thursday April 18, at 6:00PM with the Rev. Jeffery DuQuaine officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00PM until the hour of services. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS A MEMORIAL IN HIS NAME WILL BE ESTABLISHED.
