Robert A. "Bob" Billington's Obituary
Robert A. “Bob” Billington, age 43, of Oshkosh, passed away unexpectedly on June 11, 2014. He was born on April 27, 1971 in Oshkosh, a son of Ronald and Sue Billington. Bob was an avid NASCAR fan and was extremely meticulous about keeping stats on Brewers games and NASCAR races. He could tell you just about anything you wanted to know about both of them. He also enjoyed collecting all types of Die Cast Cars and had a very impressive collection. He also loved taking bus trips to various casinos. Bob was an active life long member of the Kro-Bar Club, a club founded by his grandfather, Joe Robl. Bob was loved by many and had many friends. He will be sadly missed. He is survived by and his memory will be cherished by his parents, Ron and Sue Billington; eight siblings, brothers, Dan Schroeder, Terry (Pam) Schroeder, KC Schroeder, Chuck (Loree) Billington; sisters, Vicky Watson, Kelly Schroeder, Cindy (Mike) Spandbauer and Roxanne (Jim) Paulick. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many very dear friends and his best friend, Tom Watson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Agnes Robl and Elmer and Lydia Billington. Funeral services for Bob will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. in the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Dr. The Reverend Fr. Douglas LeCaptain will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held at the funeral home for the family on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
