Robert E. "Browner" Brown's Obituary
Bob entered into eternal life on Wednesday, July 26th at 64 years of age. He was the
eldest son of his parents, Bob and Carolee Brown (Wauwatosa, WI). He is survived by
his parents , four siblings, Bill (Beth) Brown (Wauwatosa), Mary (Eric) Thielen (Green
Bay), Kathy (Gregg) Enderby (Oshkosh), Jim (Sara) Brown (Madison), and sister-in-law
Dorothy Brown (Greenville). In addition, he is survived by many nieces and nephews,
great-nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and friends. He is preceded in death by
his brother, David.
Bob enjoyed life to the fullest. Family and friends meant everything to Bob. Christmas
with the Browns was always special, as he always came up with a goofy theme gift for
every single one of the family, young and old alike to be opened all at the same time. He
loved family reunions and spent time organizing and making sure the days were special.
He loved the fact that he was able to take the majority of his nieces and nephews to a
Packer game with him. With his friends, highlights included an annual Sheephead and
Eucre tournament and their fantasy football league.
Bob attended the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and Michigan Tech where he
received a degree in electrical engineering. He used his education throughout his entire
professional career.
His two dogs, Tinker and Petey were very special to him and kept him busy while they
were with him. They went on many adventures together.
Bob will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched. He was taken from his earthly
life too soon, but as Bob frequently said, “It is what it is.” Heaven gained a beautiful
soul.
Funeral services will take place in Oshkosh, WI on Monday, August 7th, 2023 in St. Jude Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, corner of Knapp and 6th Streets, with visitation from 9:00-11:00 am, followed by the mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am with Fr. Louis Golamari as celebrant. His burial will immediately follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
