Robert Kasper's Obituary
Robert Joseph Kasper, age 78, of Oshkosh, was called to his eternal home on Thursday May 10, 2012. He was born to the late Michael and Josephine Benedict Kasper on January 10, 1934. Robert married Marlene Patricia Quade on May 23, 1959. He was employed at the Universal Foundry in Oshkosh, for 33 years as a Permanent Mold Foreman until it closed in 1984. He fifnshed his career in Maintainence for Wal-Mart stores. He was an active member of St. John's Catholic Church. Robert enjoyed singing, being the life of the party, gardening, fishing, riding his Indian Motorcycle, and spending time with his family. He was deeply loved by his family.
He is survived by his wife; Marlene Kasper, son; Mark (Deborah) Kasper, daughter; Anna (Jim) Kedzierski, grandchildren; Jason (Cyndi Sonnenburg) Kasper, Sarah (fiance Tyler Jaklin) McKay, Jennife (fiance Jim Graf), Beth McKay, Jodie Kasper, brothers; John (Evelyn), Michael, william (Helen), sisters; Millie Quant, and Dolly (Hank) Barforth. Robert is further survived by many nioeces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter; Mary Ann Kasper, brothers; George, Charlie, Fritz, Eugene, sisters; Dorothy Griedl, Leona Preuss, Marie Steineke, and Lucy Thelen.
A Mass of Christian Buurial will be celebrated on Tuesday May 15, at 10:00AM in St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church (Sacred Heart site) with the Rev. William Van DeKreeke officiating. Burial will follow in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9:00AM until the hour of services. The Kasper family wishes to extend a very special Thank you to to all at Park View Health Center, Lakeside South staff for their excellant care of Robert in his last years.
