Robert L. Krause's Obituary
Robert Krause, age 56, passed away on the evening of May 20, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Bob was born January 19, 1968 in Janesville WI, to parents Warren and Margaret Krause. He married the love of his life, Barbie, on June 16, 2012 and they spent 12 wonderful years of marriage together. Bob worked at Les Stumpf Ford of Appleton for many years and had previously worked at Mueller Crysler dealership in Oshkosh.
Bob enjoyed riding his Street Glide Harley- Davidson to many destinations all over the area. He had a special love of attending live music and concerts, especially Rock USA and The Wisconsin State Fair. He was the Vice President of the New London Fish & Game Club and very much enjoyed hunting with his brother and family. Bob loved being outside, working on the lawn and tinkering with things in his garage. He was also an awesome grill master, a good cook and loved to barbecue.
Bob was preceded in death by his father; Warren Krause.
Survivors include Bob’s wife; Barbie Krause of Hortonville, mother; Margaret Krause of Omro, brother; Karl (Lisa) Krause of Oshkosh, sister; Sherry (Daniel) Fischer of Oshkosh, niece; Kira Hitz of Oshkosh and nephew Johnathon Hitz of Oshkosh.
Bob’s family would like to thank Apple Creek Place and especially Chris Bailey and Krystal Korb for going above and beyond and giving Bob excellent, compassionate care. Bob’s family would also like to thank Froedtert Hospital and the Hope Clinic Cancer Center for all their help through Bob’s journey. His family would also like to especially thank Bob’s life-long best friend; Bobby Jeffers (Fatty) for all of his love and support through his battle with cancer.
A Memorial Service for Bob will be held on Friday May 31, 2024 at 4:00 PM at Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home (865 S. Westhaven Dr. in Oshkosh). A time for visitation and support will be held from 2:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home Friday May 31.
