Robert A. Kurth, 73, of Oshkosh, passed away unexpected at his home on August 20,2023
Robert (Bob) was born in Milwaukee on December 27, 1949.
He attended Milwaukee Public Schools and went on to earn multiple degrees in education, administration, and counseling. Robert worked as a teacher, a college professor, an AODA counselor, and a school counselor at Milwaukee Area Technical College for nearly three decades. He also became a Reverend and served his community counseling and marrying couples.
Robert (Bob) enjoyed staying active. He enjoyed playing basketball with his friends and colleagues at school, traveling, and spending time with family members and friends.
Robert is survived by his wife Debra (nee Sledge), his sister Jan (Mark) Krueger, his daughter Kalleah (Ron) Willman, grandchildren Lauren, Cameron, and Ava. Stepdaughter Misty (Jirran) Rainey, children Kameron and Nadia, as well as nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Turner Hall in the Palm Garden, hosted by his friends and colleagues at MATC.
A private service will be held in Oshkosh.
