ROBERT LANGKAU's Obituary
Robert Charles Langkau, 81, of Oshkosh, died Saturday, December 31, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center surrounded by his family.He was born in Oshkosh, the son of the late Robert and Pearl (Ott) Langkau. He married his loving wife Sheila on March 7, 1998.
Bob enjoyed working and was proud of his achievements in manaufacturing management. He ended his professional career working in Administration for the Wautoma School District until retirement.
He enjoyed casino trips and was an avid Packer and Nascar fan. His true passion was the silence and beauty of the wilderness, camping and canoeing as frequently as he could. His favorite trips were to the Boundry Waters and Quetico.
Bob is survived by his wife; Sheila Langkau, of Oshkosh, six sons; Greg (Laura), Oshkosh, David, Oshkosh, Scott (Kirsten), Oshkosh, Jeff, Oshkosh, Brian (Jenni), Oshkosh, Kurt Langkau, Oshkosh, one step-daughter; Stacy (Todd) Voight, Butte des Morts, sixteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and foster children.
Funeral services for Bob will be held in Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home (865 S Westhaven) on Tuesday January 10, at 6:00 PM with the Rev Edward Looney officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until the hour of services.
