Robert E. Peterson's Obituary
Robert Peterson, age 75, passed away September 22,2022 at his home. Robert was born in Oshkosh to the late William and Edna (Raatz) Peterson on August 28, 1947. He served in the U.S. Army from July of 1967 until July 1969, during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed bowling and watching the Brewers, Packers and Wisconsin Badgers. Robert worked for Hostess and for Copps Food Center, in Oshkosh, for many years.
Survivors include two daughters; Korie (David) Loesch and Kimberly (James) Voight, grandchildren; Halie, Hannah, Devyn, and Miley Loesch, step-grandchildren; Peyton and Ty Voight, sister; JoAnn Powers, niece; Kelli (Mike) Sohn, nephew; Jammy (Erica) Powers. Robert is further survived by many relatives and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; William and Edna and an infant daughter; Stacy.
Visitation for Robert will be held on Thursday September 29, 2022 at Poklasny Funeral Home (870 W. South Park Ave) from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM. Military honors will be held at the funeral home immediately following Thursday’s visitation. Casual attire is suggested for those who would like to attend.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
