Robert F. Ratchman's Obituary
Robert F. Ratchman, age 85, passed away Sunday April 29, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born October 5, 1932 in Oshkosh the son of Frank and Beatrice (Young) Ratchman. Bob married Joyce Kloiber on July 23, 1955 in Oshkosh. He enjoyed watching the Packer’s and also loved going to watch the games at Lambeau Field with his son, Mark. He also enjoyed golfing and bowling. Bob was known for being the handy man around the house, he could fix anything that was broken.
Bob is survived by and his memory will be cherished by his son; Mark (Debbie) Ratchman, daughters; Terri (Terry) Schmitz, Kim (Luke) Mittelstaedt, Karen (Scott) Stadler, and Shelly (Mark) Horel, grandchildren; Carrie, Mandy, Kristy, Jamie, Seth, Matt, Danielle, Lance, and Shannon; great-grandchildren; Kaylee, Madelyn, Jordan, Joey, Caleb, Addison, Rylan, and Lennon, and sister; Gerry Hill.
Bob is preceded in death by his wife; Joyce, his parents, and his sister; Bev Pistohl.
The funeral service for Bob will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 6 pm at Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home at 865 South Westhaven Drive Oshkosh, WI 54904. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 pm until the time of service. Chaplain Kristina Jensen will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.
