Dear Lamont Family,
No words nor actions can ever express how much another person has affected our lives in a positive way. Nor can words or actions relay the degree of sadness that comes from the loss of a loved one. With that said, I want all of you to know that one of my great privileges in working for Agri Blenders (now Heritage) is having known and worked with Rodger. Dear Lamont Family
I will miss this guy as our relationship was one thru the business of agriculture over many , many years. I had a lot of respect for Roger and his advice when asked. When I would place an order we always took time to visit about our families. Truly going to miss the "well doll , how can I help you" on the other end of the phone when placing an order. My deepest condolences to the family.

My condolences too Rogers families. As we grow older start lives of our own and make new memories the old one stay with us. The Lamont family was very involved in Apple River Methodist Church. Roger loved to do two things. Ring the bell on Sunday morning! Play basketball on the court with the younger kids! Everyone thought Roger was the “cats mewo “ May you find that special bell and court Roger in eternal life!

From the first time we met in the Adult (?) SS class at Monroe Methodist Church until the last time by your bedside in the ICU, you have made me laugh (and cry) with you. You will always be my "Dodger" and my memories will be even more special now that you are with our GOD.
Linda, our friendship has only been made stronger during this time and we will continue to be there for you always.
Becca, Brian and Jim...you had an amazing father who, I know, has left you with his wisdom...and wit! Keep your memories flowing in the days ahead and be a support to your mom and each other. Your "other family" is here for you, too!

Monroe UMC card club just lost one of its most valuable/voluable assets! Cards at Rodger's and Linda's home was always an interesting adventure: great fellowship, snacks, discussions, weird dogs, children, and occasionally, a few hands of cards. The suddenness of Rodger's departure is hard to take, but the realization of his pain-free new life with Jesus provides some consolation. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family.
