Roger W. Lewellyn's Obituary
Roger W. Lewellyn, age 82, of Oshkosh died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at his home. Roger was born on October 19, 1936, the son of Lawrence and Lillian Lewellyn. He married Bernadine Olejnik on July 14, 1956. She preceded him in death on May 12, 2014.
Roger was employed at Leach Company until his retirement. He loved his family and his 3 cats. He so enjoyed the many birds that came to feed at his feeders. He enjoyed woodworking and made many bird houses for his feathered friends. Roger was a proud veteran of the Marine Corp.
Roger is loved and will be missed by his daughters; Loreen (Bill) Demler and Jody (Todd) Devens, grandchildren; Leah (Erik) Svetlik, Jessica (Ross) Tyriver, Samantha Devens, Callie Devens, and Joseph Devens, 5 great grandchildren; Noah, Eli, Charlotte, Adalynn, and Everlie, sister; Gail Korn, and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Lawrence and Lillian, wife; Bernadine, brothers; Ronald, Dennis, and Larry, and sister; Patricia Tesch.
On behalf of Roger’s wishes a private service will be held. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Oshkosh.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society.
