Ronald Roy Koch's Obituary
Ronald R. Koch, age 73, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully with his family by his bedside on September 17, 2024 at Ascension Mercy Medical Center. He was born on June 24, 1951 in Oshkosh a son of the late Roy and Phyllis Jean (Hammerseng) Koch. Ron married his soulmate, Victoria Elizabeth Hartman on July 17, 1971. Ron worked for and retired from the Hoffmaster Corporation after 44 years of service. He greatly enjoyed softball, bowling leagues, gambling, casino trips, playing cards and dice games. He loved his two grandkids and enjoyed seeing them in multiple sporting events and spending time with them. Ron was also an avid Packer and Brewers fan. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ron is survived by and his memory will be cherished by his wife of 53 years, Victoria; two sons, Roy (Julie) Koch of Ripon and Scott (Tricia) Koch of Neenah; two grandchildren, Tyler Koch of Madison and Kailey Koch of Neenah; and his Grand dog (Rowdy), two sister-in-laws, Laurie Carpenter (Pat), Sandra Koch; a brother-in-law, Marty (Judy) Hartman. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Ron was preceded in death by a brother, Kelly Koch.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 1:00 pm in the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Drive in Oshkosh. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:30 am until the time of service.
