Rosa Wirth's Obituary
Rosa Wirth, age 86, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025 at her home. She was born on September 19, 1938, in Grunthal, Germany. Rosa immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 21 where she met Matt and was married a year later.
Rosa was the daughter of Maria and Alois Neumeier. She married Matt Wirth on February 13, 1960, enjoying 63 years of marriage.
She held numerous jobs throughout her life most notable a devoted wife and mother. She loved being with family, watching them grow, traveling and taking walks with her beloved husband. She always had treats for her great grandchildren when they visited and even treats for the dogs anytime they came.
She is survived by her sons Matthew (Linda) and Mark (Cynthia), four grandchildren Nicole (Andrew) Buckoski, Terri (Kyle) Schutz, Megan (Nate) Regal, and Wesley Wirth, eight great grandchildren, Briauna, Bennett, Lennon, Maddox, Knox, Logan, Griffin and Gavin.
Preceded in death by her parents Maria and Alois, sister Maria and brother Carl. Loved by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held at Fiss & Bills-Poklansy at 865 S. Westhaven Dr. Oshkosh from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2025. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m.
