Rose M. Blau's Obituary
Rose M. Blau, age 93, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, June 19, 2025. She was born on June 25, 1931 in Dayton, Ohio a daughter of the late George and Maria (Scherer) Hinkle. Rose married Robert Blau on November 6, 1948 and he preceded her in death in 1977. She had worked for and retired from Parkview Health Care Center having worked as a cook/dietitian. Rose greatly enjoyed many wonderful trips both here and abroad with her friends over the years. She loved playing bingo and cribbage with her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.Rose
She is survived by and her memory will be cherished by a daughter, Lucille (John)) Justman of Theresa, WI; a son, Robert Blau of Oshkosh; five grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and many dear friends. She was also preceded in death by two sons, John and James Blau; five brothers and a daughter in law, Barbara Blau.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Rose on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 11:00 am in St. Jude Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church , corner of Knapp and 6th Streets in Oshkosh. The Rev. Louis Golamari as celebrant. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10 am until the time of mass.
