Rose Lemberger's Obituary
Rose A. Lemberger, age 91, of Oshkosh, died on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at the Bethel Home. She was born on July 27, 1917 in Oshkosh, a daughter of the late Frank and Frances (Smolinski) Wiatrowski. On February 14, 1942, Rose married George Lemberger at St. Josaphat Catholic Church. He preceded her in death in 2002. They were married for 60 years. Rose was a faithful member of St. Josaphat's Church and had been employed at the former Paine Lumber Company until her retirement in 1984. She greatly enjoyed the Packers, Brewers and having garage sales. Her memory will be cherished by her son, Kenneth Lemberger and (Barbara Robertson) of Oshkosh; Danny Robertson of Valparaiso, Indiana; a sister, Lucille Kummers of Oshkosh; a niece, Patricia Blackburn of Oshkosh and a nephew, James Wiatrowski of Waupaca. She was preceded in death by her husband; six brothers, Alvin, Edward, Harry, Frank Jr., Stephen and Andrew; sisters, Mary Rane, Sarah Pagel, Frances Middleton, Theresa Wiatrowski and a special nephew, Richard Middleton. Funeral services for Rose will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at 3:00 p.m. at the Bethel Home Chapel, 225 N. Eagle Street, with the Reverend Fr. Robert Stegmann officiating. A time of visitation will be held at the chapel on Wednesday, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Rose's family asks that you keep her in your prayers. The family would like to thank all of the staff at the Bethel Home for all of their loving care and support that they gave Rose over the past 2 1/2 years, and also to the Aurora Hospice staff for all of their help and support.
