Rosemary Ann Bednarek
Age 93 of Oshkosh passed away peacefully on Friday, July 25, 2025 at Evergreen Sharehaven. She was born on February 28, 1932 in Oshkosh, the daughter of Ann Sosnoski. On November 24, 1951 she married Robert Bednarek at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In her early years Rosemary was a homemaker until her children were older. She then started working at Miles Kimball and remained there until retirement. She was known for her skilled sewing, crocheting and knitting. She made clothing for family members and she loved crocheting and knitting baby sweaters, afghans, scarves and mittens once the grandchildren started arriving.
Survivors include her children. Sandy Morrissey, Jim (Lori) Bednarek of Oshkosh. Joby (Tim) Mckeag of Appleton. Grandchildren, Travis (Julie) Morrissey, Kyra Morrissey both of Chicago. Shannon (Michael Miller) Bednarek of Las Vegas, Josh (Autumn) Bednarek, Ben (Renee) Bednarek of Oshkosh, Sarah (Chris) McKinney of Appleton and Becca (Jon) Scott of Brisbane Australia. Great-grand Children, Marcus, Jaxon, Braxton, Lucas, Megan, Averie, Kennedy, Colton & Alexandra. Sisters-In-Laws, Bonnie Sosnoski, Barbara Geffers, Josephine Schiefen and Sue (Rick) Yell. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Bednarek, Son-in-Law Mike Morrissey, Brothers, Donald & Kenneth Sosnoski. Mother, Ann Werner and Walter and Lillian Bednarek.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the entire staff of Evergreen Sharehaven for the outstanding care for the last three years of her life. And to Aseracare Hospice.
