Rosemary A. Krause's Obituary
Rosemary A. (Lux) Krause, age 84 of Oshkosh, passed away Friday morning, October 23, 2009 in the Mercy Medical Center. On November 29, 1924 she was born in Oshkosh, the daughter of Anton and Mary (Mathe) Lux. Rosemary graduated from St. Mary's Grade School and the Oshkosh High School. She was a member of St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church. Rosemary volunteered at the Salvatorian Missions in New Holstein until her health failed. She enjoyed gardening with her husband for many years and they always shared their produce with everyone. Rosemary was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be dearly missed. On January 21, 1946 she married Clarence B. Krause. He preceded her in death on December 26, 2008.
Survivors include her three children: Dennis (Dawn) Krause, John (Cheryl) Krause and Bonnie (William) Baggett; her seven grandchildren: Allison (Ryan) Davey, Kendelle Krause, Branden Krause, Chad Krause, Meagan Krause, Brian Baggett and Sara Baggett; her two great-grandchildren: Jackson and Blane Davey and her sister: Helen Getchel and many nieces and nephews and friends. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, one son: Thomas Krause; two sisters: Eleanor Rassmussen and Dolores Helmuth and her seven brothers: John, Joseph, Victor, Jerome, William, Robert and Raymond.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 26, 2009 in St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Doug LaCaptain and her nephew: Rev. Fr. Richard Getchel as celebrants. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Allison and Ryan Davey, Chad, Kendelle, Meagan and Branden Krause. Friends may greet the family from 9 to 11 a.m., in the church. Memorials may be directed to the Salvorian Mission in New Holstein, St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church or the donor's choice.
