Russell Tollard's Obituary
Russell James Tollard, age 68, died at The Renaissance Assisted Living, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Russ was born January 27th, 1947 in Oshkosh, WI. He spent most of his life in the Oshkosh area and moved to Wisconsin Rapids in 2014 for health care reasons. Russ graduated Lourdes High School in 1965. He served his country in the US Navy from 1965-1969. He then spent 41 years as a caregiver at Parkview Health Center in Oshkosh. Russ enjoyed traveling; his favorite vacation place was Key West Florida. Russ also, had a green thumb which was evident by the many plants he grew including his favorite orchids.
Russ is survived by many family and friends. His mother, Virginia Tollard; brother, Bill (Cathy) Tollard, sisters, Cindy (Chuck) Winkler, and Cheri (Dave) Stark. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Willie (Rebekah) Tollard, Jackie Morter, Jenny (Dan) McCollian, Christie (Ron) Reyes, Missy (Marc) Kudley, Ali (Adam) Mancl, and Joe Stark (Brittany Colby), and many great nieces and nephews. His also has many dear friends he is survived by that he considered family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 11:00 am in St. Raphaels Catholic Church,830 S. Westhaven Dr; the Rev Doug LeCaptain officiating. Family and friends may call at the Church Saturday Jan 23, form 9am until the time of services. Burial with Military Honors will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Russ and his family would like to thank the Renaissance Assisted Living, Ministry Hospice, as well as the UW Cancer Center for all the wonderful care.
