Ruth Anna Conger's Obituary
Ruth Anna Conger, age 103, of Oshkosh, peacefully went to her heavenly home on December 19, 2022. Ruth was born on October 7, 1919 in Oshkosh a daughter of the late Vernon and Anna (Ott) Flack. She married Harvey Conger on September 24, 1938 in Oshkosh. Harvey preceded her in death in 1979. Ruth had worked for several grocery stores in their meat departments during her life. She was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church and greatly enjoyed her grandchildren and family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Ruth is survived by and her memory will be cherished by a daughter, Marilyn (Michael) Wegner of Oshkosh; six grandchildren, Kevin (Barb) Hohenwalter, Jill Hohenwalter, Ruthann (John) Marx, Lisa (Gerald) Bender, Candace Wegner, Paula (Nathan) Hildebrandt; four great-grandchildren, Joshua (Sara) Bender, Alayna, Morgan and Colton Blanck; two great-great grandchildren, Sophia and Jackson Bender. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a dauther and son-in-law, Ellen (George) Hohenwalter; three sisters; two brothers; and a grandson, Timothy Covey.
Funeral services for Ruth will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 2:00 pm in Zion Lutheran Church, 400 N. Sawyer Street in Oshkosh with the Rev. Jeffrey Knoll officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 1 pm until the time of service. The family wishes to thank the staff at Park View Health Center for the care that Ruth received while residing there.
