Ruth J. Hanneman's Obituary
Ruth Joan “Tootie” Hanneman
June 8,1941- October 6,2021
Ruth passed away Wednesday, October 6 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Duane, her son Kurt (Sara) Hanneman, grandson Caleb Hanneman and many beloved nieces and nephews and Dog and faithful companion, Stitch.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rollin and Naomi (Hiller) Hacker; 2 brothers, Robert & Clifford Hacker; and 2 sisters, Dorothy Weigand & Rose Martinez.
Ruth was a precious soul who loved family above all else (especially her grandson), animals, sunflowers, shopping, Josh Groban, a good Hallmark movie, Disney and ice cream. Her special skills included masterfully twirling a baton, baking a delicious anise cookie and loving the people in her life without measure.
She worked at many places throughout her life including Kresge’s, Miles Kimball, Mister Donut and Honey B but it was her job as wife, mom and grandma that she cherished most.
A service for Ruth will be held at Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church (1526 Algoma Blvd) on Tuesday October 12th, 2021 at 12:00 . Pastor Tom Voss will be officiating the service. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Memorials will support those charities closest to Ruth’s heart and interests.
God Bless. Until we meet again, you are dearly treasured and missed.
